  • Supports High Resolution audio upto 32-bit/768kHz and DSD512
  • Remote control included
  • Easy to use App
  • Wifi, Bluetooth, AirPlay 2 enabled

Hot off the heels of the WiiM Pro comes the Wiim Pro PLUS. Once again an extremely capable, easy-to-use and affordable way to introduce yourself to streaming or as an upgrade to your existing device.

Everything you need to get you going is in the box, so you don’t have to worry about any extras. We do, of course, recommend upgrading the cables!

WiiM have steadily grown a strong reputation for producing exceptionally easy to use, great sounding hardware for an affordable price - just check out the numerous reviews on YouTube.

Why we like it

Unlike many streaming systems, it's simple to set-up and use with class leading sound quality.

The Wiim Pro PLUS is pretty much plug-and-play. Take it out of the box, plug it in and connect to your hifi via a pair of analogue interconnects (a basic, get-you-going pair is included). Pair your phone or tablet via Bluetooth and you can literally start listening to music in under two minutes.

Why Choose the PLUS?
Simply put, the PLUS model offers better digital to analogue conversion. The PLUS features the latest generation of premium HiFi DAC chip from AKM. This high-precision, low-jitter DAC supports audio up to 768 kHz/32-bit, boasting an impressively low noise floor. It's the perfect choice for Hi-Res audio streaming (or even just low-res!).

If you don’t have a separate DAC and simply want to connect the streamer directly to your amplifier with the best possible sound quality, then the Wiim Pro PLUS is the model for you!

If you already have a separate DAC that you’ve invested in, then choose the Wiim Pro.

Advanced Features

The WiiM Pro PLUS is not just a simple, casual add-on. It’s a fully-fledged streamer with powerful functionality. It integrates with a wide variety of music apps including Tidal, Spotify and Qobuz.

It’s Roon ready, meaning if you have subscribed to Roon and already have a Roon ecosystem in place, the WiiM Pro PLUS can act as an 'endpoint', making it perfect for bolting on to your main hifi or as an endpoint on additional music systems.

If you want to take an alternative approach to Roon, and have all your music stored on a Network Attached Storage (NAS) drive, then the WiiM Pro PLUS can act as a 'DLNA receiver', allowing you to stream your music direct from your NAS to your Hi-Fi, all controlled via the intuitive Wiim app.

The WiiM Pro PLUS can be connected via Wi-Fi to your network or, as we recommend for best performance, via an Ethernet cable direct to your router.

For Apple device users, compatibility with AirPlay 2 allows for the easy streaming of audio from iPhone, iPad, Mac computer or Apple TV to one or multiple audio devices at the same time. Use Siri on your phone or HomePod to control music selection, volume, and playback!

There is also a powerful 10-band graphic EQ and parametric EQ built in, should you wish to apply multiple equalization such as bass/treble adjustment.

Auto calibration of audio delay - Occasionally connected audio devices on your network may suffer from latency issues due to different hardware, software and DSP processing. To maintain the synchronization of the music playing through each component, the WiiM Pro PLUS measures the audio path delays automatically using the built in microphone. A proprietary algorithm is then used to maintain perfect audio synchronization in a wireless multi-room playback with HomePod, Echo, Google Home or other WiiM devices.

Send and Receive

A recent update now allows you to Airplay (and Bluetooth) from the Wiim PLUS Pro to an Airplay/Bluetooth device. So, if you connect a CD player or Turntable to the analogue input for example, you can wirelessly stream the music to a wireless speaker! Nice..

What’s Casting?

When you open an App, on your phone or tablet, to play music such Tidal or Spotify, or to watch a video on YouTube, you’ll often see a 'cast' logo, such as Chromecast, on the right. Casting allows you to select a compatible device on your network, in this case the Wiim Pro PLUS, and play music through that device. Your phone or tablet then simply becomes a remote control as the Wiim Pro PLUS can stream music directly via your router depending on how the app is configured.

Multiroom features

With the WiiM Pro PLUS you can create a comprehensive multiroom sound system by linking to your existing devices such as AirPlay 2 speakers, Amazon Echo or any Google Home device. Chromecast devices are also included.

This versatility allows you to group any combination of these devices together for synchronized music throughout your home. Creating a seamless listening experience throughout your home, all controlled via the WiiM app on your smartphone or tablet. The possibilities are practically endless as long as there's a compatible speaker connected.

Yes, I recommend this product.
"Great Value Music Steaming With A Lot Of Source Options"
Overall very good, outstanding value for money with a lot of musical sources, app ok but not brilliant imo still needs developing, the ability to add apps would be nice, ie the magic radio streaming app, the paid for version that has no adds or news and can skip 6 songs per hour can only work via blue tooth, this is poor if using phone music buffers, native linex app on wiim would overcome this issue, the User interface is a bit clunky, I have set up to switch on when optical source detected from my sky 4k box, it's a bit hitty miss sometimes works other time don't, I would recommend but on value/sound quality but still needs more development on software side, not as intuitive as on line reviews say.
Customer Service Reply Hi Dave
Thanks for your review. Most audio Apps support casting from within their own App including Magic Radio. You can either stream using the Chromecast option of Airplay option as long as your WiiM and device are on the same network. Details of how to do this can be found in the support guide of Magic Radio.
