Introducing the WattGate 320 EVO – the new, entry-level IEC connector with brass terminals.

WattGate have spent the last few years improving their legendary IEC connectors.

The new WattGate plugs are called WattGate EVO and our listening tests have confirmed that they are a real evolution over the original WattGate ‘Classic’ plugs.

Featuring a number of new, innovative features the WattGate evolution range is a real step forward in plug performance.

New WattLock terminals incorporating WattLock ‘teeth’ improve contact pressure on the cable conductors for a lower resistance connection. The new terminals accept conductors of up to 8 AWG (3.26mm diameter).

The high spring-rate contacts mean that the plugs grip securely onto your equipment socket.

The new plugs will accept a cable with a total diameter of up to 19mm. The complete plug shell is of non-magnetic construction with a durable polycarbonate plug shell.

Finally, all plugs are Deep Cryogenically Treated.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
    "Wattgate 320 Evo"
    I bought two of these to replace more basic IEC plugs on two power cables. They are good quality, modular in build, and allow for a good grip on decent size cables. From basic kettle plug connectors there is an obvious improvement in bass extension, soundstaging and definition, which I imagine is due to increased transient current capacity. Recommended.

    This is quite a step up from the older Wattgates in terms of build, finish and more importantly the conductive materials used... so easy to wire up and it's acceptance of thicker cables is fantastic, I also much prefer the Allen screws, but use a screwdriver with the right Allen bit if you can.
    Wattgates can still be stripped down to their component parts so you can clean and treat conductive parts.
    These are great, they just grip an IEC socket so well and of course they help things to sound and look better in every area... Fantastic

    Yes, I recommend this product.
    "A Worthwhile Improvement."
    I replaced the IEC on two Russ Andrews Power cables CD and Amp ( russ Andrews Fuses Fitted) The Differance was really noticeable, The soundstage has more depth with instruments easier to define. Well worth fitting . A more natural sound
