About Torlyte Loudspeaker Plats

Place the Speaker Plats beneath your speakers (and ideally use Oak Cone Feet between your speakers and the Speaker Plats) and get the same performance all our Torlyte® Speaker Stand owners enjoy.

In our opinion they allow your floorstanding speakers to deliver more detail, better sound staging and a more natural, musical sound.





Boost performance even further by using our Oak Cone feet inbetween your loudspeaker and the Torlyte Platform.

Each individual platform is fitted with three 8mm Spiked feet or you can choose three Cone feet. We recommend Spikes for soft floor surfaces e.g. carpet, rugs etc. and Jumbo cone feet for hard floor sufaces e.g. Wood, Laminate flooring etc.

When you place your order, we will contact you to confirm the dimensions.

Torlyte Speaker Plats are custom made to the footprint of your speaker. The height is fixed at 75mm (3"), only the width and depth are required, so you can choose to have them bigger or smaller than your speakers. Platforms can only have straight edges, no curves. For particularly large Plats (over 350mm x 350mm), there will be an additional 10% charged on the price above.

"Who Wood Have Thunk It?"
Finally got some of these platforms for my Tannoy floorstanders and straight away things are a little tighter and clearer. I am hearing subtle effects on Massive Attack albums that I have not heard before. They are my go to test CDs as I thought I knew ever detail of them. Yet these stands have produced more. Fairly substantial improvement on my system (small room, carpeted floor, monster Quad amps) so I have to recommend them.

"Amazingly Clear!"
When I first listened to music with my speakers on these plats I was unimpressed! I tried different things to make them work, but to no avail. It was then that I realized one of my hearing aid batteries had gone flat! After a quick battery change things just kept getting better. Alan Clark appeared to play twice as many notes as I had heard before on Dire Strait's "Telegraph Road". More and more detail. Keep up the good work everyone.
