Since we launched the Supplier it has always been supplied with copper link cables. We have now improved this link cable and it's now available as upgrade to further improve performance between Supplier and the component it's powering.

The new Supplier LvL cables are now available in pure silver and specifically for use with our Supplier AC or DC power supply. This version is is made with Kimber’s KCAG cable which is ideal for low voltage applications. The Supplier LvL cables come with a Neutrik XLR connector and can be wired Centre positive or Centre negative.

We have also sourced some excellent new DC plugs which are pure copper with gold plated contacts. They give a robust, positive connection and sound clear and clean. Available in 1.3mm, 1.7mm, 2.1mm and 2.5mm sizes. If your original Supplier cable has a different termination, then please call or email us with your requirements.

If you don't see the size you require, please do get in touch. The size refers to the diameter of the hole in the centre of the jack plug.


The most common sizes are 1.3mm, 1.7mm, 2.1mm and 2.5mm, with 2.1mm being the most popular size found on equipment. Sizing refers to the diameter of the hole in the plug. Details of the size should be on your receipt when you purchased the Supplier from us. If you don't have this, then contact us and we can check the original order.

If the size isn't known, you will need to measure the inside diameter of the plug. [WARNING: unplug the power supply from the mains before making any attempt at measurements.] This is a critical measurement and tolerances are extremely fine.

For example, the two most popular sizes 2.1mm and 2.5mm differ by just 0.4mm. A Vernier caliper is best for measurement or to guarantee the right size.



A ruler could be used, but remember the differences between the different plug sizes are very small so take great care when measuring. You are of course, more than welcome to send your cable to us and we'll measure it and return it immediately.

Polarity is a critical measurement and your original should have a marking on the heatshrink detailing whether it's Centre positive C+ or Centre negative C-
