We’re constantly searching out ways to improve our products, and our popular SuperSocket™ wall socket is the latest to benefit. We’ve found a new type of double socket that outperforms the older MK version that we’ve been using - and the new sockets replace the older version at no extra cost.


The SuperSocket II™ features high spring-rate brass contacts that we treat with DeoxIT® – we’ve developed a special tool to apply the contact enhancer as they are separately shuttered and it’s not possible to access them without it. The new sockets are a straight swap for existing double sockets. Like the previous model, the SuperSocket II™ is also available with an earth terminal option for use with our RF Grounding System.

    "Supersocket Ii"
    I purchased this I switched double socket, complete with contact treatment, to replace a good quality, switched, double socket. There is an immediate and
    obvious improvement in sound, better detail and staging, with a more natural
    presentation.
    I have recently changed the wiring to this socket taking it off the ring main and putting it on a dedicated radial supply from its own mcb, so an I switched socket makes sense. Like other Russ Andrews mains products I have tried the result is more music and less hifi.

    Tend to think much of the tweaking is snake oil for hobbyists but indulged and bought this and am blown away by the immediate improvement to all aspects of the sound - more space, vocals step out of the speakers, transients faster and everything cleaner.

    Great contact with the plug and no switch means less interference, if you have clean mains this is a solid component to have to improve any system.
