Russ Andrews Casework Ground Magnet Single
Russ Andrews Ground Magnet™
- Strong ferromagnetic magnet provides an effective ground path.
- Kimber TCX connecting wire.
- Superior 4mm Nickel Banana socket.
Russ’s approach to grounding equipment is to link the cases of your equipment together with specialist grounding wires, such as our Technical Ground Weave, and then connect these to ground via an RF Router MKII or a SuperRouter.
Typically, the Technical Ground Weave cables are terminated with banana plugs; we offer special Chassis Ground Banana Adaptors that attach via a casework screw and let you plug in your banana-terminated cables.
These work well, but what if your casework doesn’t have any accessible screws that allow you to connect the adaptors? The Chassis Ground Magnet™ allows for a simple, easy connection for your ground wires to the metal casework of your equipment without the need to use screws or grounding tags – no more fiddly screws.
About the Ground Magnet
The Casework Ground Magnet offer a simple, effective solution, for steel-cased equipment, is to use the power of magnetism. The magnet uses a strong 30mm diameter magnet to attach securely to casework, reducing the need to loosen or remove chassis screws. Available with either one or three 4mm nickel-plated banana sockets connected via Kimber TCX wire.
For best performance, we recommend attaching the Casework Ground Magnet to the bottom of an equipment's case, close to the power supply. Note that it only works with steel casework; the Casework Ground Magnet will not work with aluminium or plastic cases!
