ReleeS Spray

ReleeS is used to control static on CDs, DVDs, SACDs and Blu-ray Discs, in fact any optical media. Sprayed onto the label side of the disc, ReleeS brings about a reduction in static charge and, just as importantly, leaves a smooth even charge across the surface.

ReleeS is effective just used on its own or in conjunction with our ReVeel CD wipes.

What you'll need:

Paper towel or clean cloth to place the CD on
ReleeS
Microfibre cloth

1. Place the disc play side down, label side up, on the towel.





2. Holding ReleeS approximately 6” away. Apply 2 - 3 sprays to the label side.





There is no advantage in over application. You just need enough ReleeS to effectively cover the CD in a fine mist.





3. Either pick the disc by the edges or hold down on the towel then gently polish the surface of the disc with the Microfibre cloth until all the liquid has gone and you feel the surface become slightly slippery.






It is important not to get any ReleeS on the play side of the disc. it won’t cause any damage but it may impair playback. If you do, we recommend using ReVeel to clean the play side of the disc and then re-treating with ReleeS.

There is no limit to how many times you can treat a disc or recommendation of how often you do. The effect of ReleeS will naturally fade over time and through handling. It certainly won’t do any harm to give a CD a quick spritz and polish every time before playing!
