The PowerKord-508™

We are delighted to be able to expand the range of our PowerKords™ fitted with Figure-8 plugs. The additions to the range have been brought about by the introduction of the superb new WattGate™ Figure-8 plugs which mean that we can at last fit Figure-8 plugs onto the larger PowerKords™ with more connectors.


The PowerKord-508™ is in the top of the range of our figure-8 PowerKords. In terms of performance it is above the PowerKord-8™ and the PowerKord-308™.

Introducing our NEW Audio Quality Plug



The AQ version, with it’s highly polished brass pins with a high copper content, is fitted as standard to all types of cable that feature the plug. The AQ-RH is a Rhodium-plated version which is available as an option on the PowerKord-500 and the SuperKords only.

Where would you use a PowerKord-508?™

You would use the PowerKord-508™ on any piece of equipment with a figure-8 socket and you wanted the best performance! They are perfect on CD players or Blu-ray players, Computers (perfect for the mac mini!) amplifiers, TV screens, Sky boxes and other Freeview or Freesat set-top boxes.





If you already using a PowerKord-8™ or PowerKord-308™, our experience has shown that you can expect a significant upgrade in performance when moving up to the 508™. The PowerKord-508™ has 50% more conductors as the PowerKord-308™ and delivers better bass, more detail, a more open soundstage and more musicality. The PowerKord-508™ is the very best performing model; you should fit it if you want the best performance for your figure-8 equipment.

    The PowerKord-508™ is fitted with the WattGate 370 EVO™ figure-8 plug which features a four Layer Plating Process for maximum conductivity – in our tests, the best performing plug. This Rhodium plated version is – in our tests - the best performing plug.

    WattGates™ figure-8 plugs fitted to the PowerKords™ have high spring-rate terminals for a secure connection to your equipment and the plugs grip onto the cables tightly with proprietary WattLock™ capture boxes. The plugs are non-magnetic and have a durable polycarbonate plug shell.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
    "Great For Sky Q 4K, Uhd, Hdr Picture."
    Yes, you read it right. The most impressive aspect of this cable for me has been how much it improved the picture for my Sky Q box. I cannot tell you how much darker, richer and more ink like the colour black has become. There is also a much sharper edge to the picture too. The expected benefits of better sound are obviously there with a less thumping bass and a clarity in treble that is less harsh, yet more detailed. I also like the fact my Sky box now produces a lot less heat. I can only presume the cable prevents it from working so hard. A great upgrade that is worth the price with a great service from the team.
