If you're already the owner of one of our iconic, triangular PowerBlocks fitted with either SuperSockets or UltraSockets, the good news is that we can upgrade your existing Block so that it is fitted with very best, high-performance Signature Socket™.
Russ Andrews Signature Sockets™
The Signature PowerBlock features four, double, 13A Rhodium plated Signature SuperSockets. These are the finest-sounding UK mains sockets Russ has auditioned, with high pressure, Rhodium-plated phosphor bronze copper alloy contacts. In addition, each socket benefits from our full Super Burn-In™ process and is manufactured to BS1363. The Block is currently only available with 13A UK sockets.
Rhodium is an exceptionally hard and tough metal making it perfect for environments where fit and forget performance is crucial.
The conductivity performance of rhodium remains constant over its lifetime, unlike other conductors that can deteriorate due to oxidation.
The work includes fitting new side panels. the sockets and any additional internal wiring necessitated by the Signature Sockets™. Please note that the upgrade does not convert the internal wiring infrastructure to be the same as a Signature PowerBlock, only the sockets.
To have your block upgraded, place your order. We will then contact you so we can book it in with the engineers for a time that suits you and us. If necessary, we can arrange collection of your original block. Once we have it in our workshop, we aim to turn it around in 2-3 days.
What colour?
Please note that the new side panels (that the sockets are mounted in) are black. So if you have one the original blue PowerBlocks there will be that colour difference. But we think it looks rather smart!

Trade-in!
We offer a trade-in allowance for your old sockets. Normally we would return your old sockets but if you have no need for them, then we’ll offer the following:
£50 trade-in allowance if you have SuperSockets £100 trade-in allowance if you have UltraSockets
Please note that this service is only available for copper-wired PowerBlocks. If you have a part or fully silver-wired block, please contact us for pricing.
