PBJ is Kimber’s original interconnect, and the fore-runner to Kimber’s Timbre analogue interconnect. Featuring three Hyper-pure copper, VariStrand™ woven conductors and fluorocarbon (Teflon®) insulation, the quality of materials belies its budget price.
Normally supplied with 'UltraPlate' plugs, it's become a mainstay of budget audiophilia. Performance wise, in this standard form it’s very similar to Timbre, but this limited edition comes with superior WBT-0114 Cu nextgen plugs. The WBT Upgrade
This exclusive edition of PBJ comes fitted with our favourite RCA (phono) plugs from German specialist WBT. The version we've chosen is the WBT-0114Cu.
A unique clamping mechanism, which firmly locks on to the RCA socket.
The central pin is slotted giving a firm yet ‘elastic’ contact.
The metal parts are made from a special copper alloy and are 24 carat gold-plated.
The insulation within the connector is made from heat resistant Teflon®
