"Ks1016"
I read some positive reviews about the ks1016 so I replaced my ks1011s I was totally surprised at the extra detail they gave me and the bottom end is there in spades and they are ultra smooth it's like the Ks 1011s on steroids another 10 out if 10 for Kimber highly recommend

"Gave The Whole System An Enormous Lift"
The Kimber Select KS 1016 is a great product : I got my used one with minizaps and super burn in and used it between pre and power. The effect was instantly obvious. Everything seemed to sound clearer - and any harshness was replaced by a sort of ‘creamy’ sound.. I had a jazz loving mate over and we listened to Art Pepper into the night, for hour after hour - using only vinyl playback - which still beats my CD player.

"Ks1016 Interconnects"
After reading an interesting customer system in the last issue of 'Connected' I decided to replace my Hero AG interconnects with KS-1016. I have to say that they are proving their worth now that they are 'run in'. After taking some time to get going the improvement is obvious using the Naim CD5si as source.Electronic music simply sparkles and audibly shows more verve, with bass clearly pumping iron with no wobble or distortion. The Tangerine Dream album 'Quantum Gate' has more edge and drama - there is a lot going on in this album and the detail is more coherent, and spatial than before.
Switch across to smooth jazz and 'Masterpiece' by Special EFX is handled with the minimum of fuss the clarity of sax and trumpet is an audible delight.
Hero interconnects were good, but these are in another parish.
Another 5 stars.......
