UK Wiring regulations state that mains installation cable must be double insulated.

Our Superior Install cable is single insulated and so a second insulator must be added. This tough, ribbed tubing is perfect for the job.

Alternatively you have the option of sourcing your own conduit to comply with the law.

Our insulation sheathing is a tough, robust sheathing for use with our Superior ring main cable. It is available/sold in 1m increments.

SPECIFICATIONS
  • External diameter is 20mm
  • Internal diameter is 15mm

    Please note: When you order this insulation together with our Superior or Standard install cable, the insulation sheathing will be pre-fitted for you.
