HG Cleaning Cloth SILVER

Russ has found some cleaning cloths that are astonishingly good at cleaning surface contaminants from mains plugs, or interconnect or speaker cables prior to treating with DeoxIT and DeoxIT Gold.

They take the form of an impregnated textile cloth that is treated with an ultrafine powder specifically designed to remove oxidisation on mains plugs, interconnect plugs and speaker cable connections.

Although this is designed for use on silver, it is actually universal and can be used on copper, brass, gold and rhodium.

We recommend using this cloth first to remove residue on the connector. Note that even though your plug may look clean, initial layers of dirt and oxidization can be invisible to the naked eye.
Once you've thoroughly cleaned the surface, use DeoxIT to finish.
