Equipment powered by the mains generates an electromagnetic field (EMF). In our experience, the smaller the EMF, the better the performance of your Hi-Fi or Home Cinema system.

The Elfix tester is particularly useful for measuring EMF generated with equipment that is powered by a figure-8 mains lead. It allows you to identify which way round to connect the figure-8 plug and generate the lowest EMF.
