The Russ Andrews 5A SuperFuse™ is a replacement fuse designed to be used with power cables that need 5A mains plug fuses. They feature a specially-developed version of our legacy Super Burn In process. The SuperFuses are supplied with a DeoxIT Gold wipe for treatment just before fitting.

Why an audiophile mains fuse?
No matter how good a mains cable you use, electricity still has to pass through that small piece of fuse wire in the mains plug. Our solution was to develop a high-performance fuse that mitigates these negative effects as far as possible, and at a price that was more affordable (noting that audiophile fuses could cost anything up to around £200 each). To do this, we selected an existing, fine-sounding fuse that we were able to upgrade with our own unique knowledge and techniques to make it sound even better.

"Very Surprised"
Having already installed a Powerboat S 4way with a Yello power cable. I've just purchased 4 x 5A SuperFuses and 1 x 13A SuperFuse. Wow what an improvement. The whole sound stage is more detailed and open. The best and cheapest upgrade you can do.I was impressed with the Powerbar S but now with the addition of the Superfuses my
system is just gone up to a new level. I just so impressed.

"Great Fuses"
My preferred fuses don’t come in 5A so I gave these a try and I have been delighted by the results. Straight in and they improved the sound and music across the board. Very natural sounding. Fitted to mains plugs for my Pioneer PD-77 CD player, linear power supply for my Denon DA-300USB DAC and, shock horror!, my PS4.
